The Shot Band
A constant feature on stages all over New Zealand, The Shot Band make friends from strangers every time they step onstage. Energy, caustic wit, sweet harmony and great songs make The Shot Band a guaranteed good time for all.
Rob Joass, Hamish Graham and Bill Hickman are a lean, stand up acoustic band whose warm harmonies and onstage vitality serves to showcase three very distinctive singer/songwriters.
Dylan Hawesome
Dylan is a quirky bald singer songwriter from Christchurch who makes small songs into big storys that will leave you wondering and humming

This is one of the most "laid back" music festivals in new Zealand
In addition to the amazing "head line acts" there is ample opportunity for everyone to perform, be it at the BlackBoard concerts or late at night around the camp fire.
We have a gorgeous camping area on Waihi Bush Organic Farm, with 15 ha of virgin native bush, and a river with swimming holes. We have running tap water & composting toilets (smell free), and there are BBQs available. There will be the same gourmet food stall as last year run by Dereck Tutton who used to own the EasyWay café in Geraldine plus the Eco Coffee Stall.
There is lots of parking for cars and buses, with gravelled access.
Pets must be controlled at all times.

Del Girl
Ask Erin Morton , Lynn Vare and John Dodd to describe the Delgirlsound and they'll scratch around for the right words. Acoustic, country-blues? Harmony-rich folk-reggae fusion? It is what it is, they say. Ask them to play, and their songs do the talking, revealing musical roots nourished by the warm waters of the Tropics, the cool mountain streams of North America and the fertile soils of their New Zealand homeland.

Sol Rojo
Wellington's hottest new live act, Sol Rojo, featuring Sebastian Elsen and George Wills, playing hot blooded Latin guitar. These two amigos are a must see for any World Music lover. Sit in awe or shake your hips! Sol Rojo is Fresh, Vibrant and will certainly Spice up the Festival |
